Come enjoy a GEHC Guided Group Tour!
Come enjoy one of the most unique destinations in the southeast! The Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center is an educational facility that teaches the community about the importance of being good stewards of the environment, as well as its cultural heritage. The building serves as a model for green architecture by using eco-friendly building products. Make your trip special by visiting our hands-on exhibits, walking our trails, and eating a picnic lunch at one of our outdoor pavilions. Please inquire about availability for lunch space when you book.
All tours are two (2) hours in length and can be scheduled Monday through Sunday, unless otherwise indicated, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Prices: Gwinnett Residents $10 (Ages 13+) $7 (Ages 3-12)
Out of County Residents $13 (Ages 13+) $10 (Ages 3-12)

Green Building Guided Group Tour (best for adult/architectural interest only groups) Includes:
- In-depth tour of the inside and outside of the GEHC – green building practices will be discussed
- Blue Planet Theater (12 minute presentation)
- Discover H2O and Water Ways Exhibit
- Short outdoor interpretative walk on our multi-surfaced trail system (weather permitting)
F. Wayne Hill Water Resources Center Guided Group Tour (best for adult only groups) Includes:
You helped make the water dirty, now see what it takes to make it clean…..
On this tour, you will follow the steps of wastewater treatment and see it all; from the grimy, gritty beginnings to the crystal clear water we send back into the environment. Learn how reclaimed water is used around the county and at the GEHC. This tour takes two hours to complete. Please wear closed-toe shoes. This guided tour requires stairs and time outside. The tour is given rain or shine.
Special Exhibits
Special exhibits are offered throughout the year and may be included in a museum tour.
Scheduling Information
• Reservations are required
• A minimum of 10 participants is required
• Programs are offered daily, rain or shine. Late arrival may reduce program time
The GEHC reserves the right to adjust museum tour and exhibit components based on availability.
