K12 STEAM Partnerships

Partnerships with the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center

Schools seeking STEAM Certification can partner with the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center (GEHC). As part of the partnership, schools send a minimum of 150 students annually to participate in a rich exploratory program(s) connected to the fields of science, technology, engineering and math and receive the following service(s):

• AKS Specific Onsite/Offsite STEAM Related Programs.

• Consideration for STEAM Teacher Immersion Program Funded by the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center Foundation.

• Award of Recognition as a Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center STEAM Partner.

• Award of Recognition for Teachers Selected to Participate in the Summer STEAM Teacher Immersion Program.

The GEHC provides a variety of STEAM support opportunities throughout the year in addition to the onsite/offsite exploratory programs. For a complete listing of STEAM partner schools from 2016/2017 academic year, visit www.gwinnettEHC.org.
